The new prices will be effective from October 5
Gas cylinder prices will see a hike in UAE starting from October 5.
According to a notification by Emirates Gas, effective October 5, 2017, an 11 kg cylinder will cost you Dh83 instead of the earlier Dh73 — an increase of Dh10. While a 22kg cylinder cost Dh115 earlier, you will now have to shell out Dh135 for it. And the 44kg cylinder will cost consumers Dh285, a hike of Dh40, from the earlier price Dh245.
The notification issued by Emirates Gas said:
“As the international price of LPG has increased substantially in the last few months, we are constrained to make a revision in the sale price of LPG cylinders.”
